In an effort to provide Masonic light, Philosophic Lodge of Research offers these links to Masonic information on the Internet. As with any source of information, one should corroborate the material on these sites with other sources. Masonic Service Association of North America The publisher of Short Talk Bulletins, their catalog is well worth downloading and perusing. Particularly recommended is the Think Tank For Junior Wardens for planning one's year in the East. Google Books Enter "Freemasonry" into the search field, (without quotation marks), and choose from over 5,000 results. Some books are previews only, but there are numerous complete texts available. The Masonic Society - Is a relative newcomer to the field of Masonic Research. Founded by Brethren committed to publishing a quarterly magazine with a variety of topics with quality graphics, this group is well worth the attention of those seeking more Light. Membership is limited to Brethren belonging to a Grand Lodge that is a member of the Conference of Grand Masters of Masons in North America. Quatuor Coronati Lodge 2076 - Is the oldest Lodge of Masonic Research in the world. While the Lodge limits its membership to 40 Brothers, any Master Mason in good standing belonging to a lodge of a recognized Grand Lodge by UGLE may apply to join their corresponding circle and recieve Ars Quatuor Coronatorum the transactions of the Lodge which include papers, discussions and material to serve as programs for lodges. The Philalethes Society - Founded in 1928, The Philalethes Society is the oldest Masonic research body in the United States. Publishing a quarterly magazine, the Society is an excellent resource for those seeking Masonic Light. Scottish Rite Southern Jurisdiction Master Crafstman Program - The Master Craftsman Program is a program of six lessons administered by the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Southern Jurisdiction centered around the monumental work of Arturo de Hoyos The Scottish Rite Ritual Monitor and Guide. At $35.00, the price is well worth the investment for the book alone. Having the course guide the reader through the book is an excellent bonus. King Solomon's Lodge - Not an actual Lodge, but a collection of Masonic Blogs. Bloggers include both regular and irregular/unrecognized Masons. Survey what those around the world are currently writing about the Craft. The Internet Sacred Text Archive - This site has material ranging from Freemasonry to Jainism to UFOs. Please do not download the material from this site wholesale so as to limit bandwidth. Order a DVD or CDROM instead. Having this material on your electronic bookshelf makes research a snap. The Masonic Trowel - This site contains a vast amount of information including the Old Tyler Talks and Old Past Master Talks by Carl H. Claudy. It also has on line editions of The Builder Magazine by Joseph Fort Newton. Pietre-Stones Review of Freemasonry - Another very large Web site with papers submitted by Masons from around the world. Content is in five languages. This site also offers on-line books. Phoenix Masonry - Along with Masonic papers, this site also has an on-line museuem. MasonicWorld.com - This site offers over 600 Masonic papers and over 900 Masonic graphics. MasonicDictionary.com - This Web site makes it easy to make a daily advancement in Masonic knowledge. Search or browse the particular vocabulary of Masonry. masonicinfo.com - This site provides an excellent overview of Masonry as practiced in the United States. It also has a large amount of information on anti-Masonry, both ancient and modern. Masonic Central - If you have ever wanted a talk radio show devoted to Freemasory, then this site is an excellent answer to that need. Listen live or to podcasts in their archives. Noted guests include S. Brent Morris, Chris Hodapp, and Connecticut's own Tom Accousti. A Page About Freemasonry - The world's oldest Masonic Website.
